How did Japan became a developed country?

In this world many countries are developing. But how did Japan got developed so fast? Japan has invested a lot in human resources in the field of education and health to succeed.

Their system of governance is stable and consistent over the years. Also, Japan has no resources,so they import needed resources for development.

From the 1960s to the 1980s, Japan achieved one of the highest economic growth rates in the world.

1) Investment in human capital.

2) A high standard in education.

3) High rates of investment in productive plant and equipment.

4) An increasingly open world trade framework.

5) Ready access to leading technologies and significant investment in research and development.

Japan is a world leader in the manufacture of electrical appliances and electronics, automobiles,ships, machine tools,optical and precious equipment,machinery and chemicals.

Japan services sector, including financial services,now plays a far more prominent role in the economy, accounting for about 75 percent of GDP. In 2015 to 2016, Japan’s major export destinations were the United States (20.2 percent), china (17.5 percent) and Republic of Korea (7 percent).
